I have been toying with the idea of starting a poetry blog for some time. I was unsure whether to, as I am very amateur in my writing, but have decided that by making my poems public, I can potentially connect with readers who may have felt similar sentiments to mine at times, and I can also maybe receive constructive criticism too – I would like to improve my writing, and welcome and value others’ opinions.
I have written poetry on and off briefly in the past, but over the past few months have been writing more and have found it to be therapeutic and beneficial to my mental health.
My poems of late have generally had a heavy focus on themes such as mental health difficulties, love and loss – please proceed carefully if you feel that the content may be triggering for you, I don’t wish to have a negative impact on anyone <3

You are also welcome to comment if you feel that anything in particular has resonated with you, or share any personal experiences that may come up for you – I am deeply interested in human experiences of life and I will always endeavour to respond to anyone who is kind enough to share their personal experiences on here.
